Having taught a large number of student at PSM all these 20 years, we have used methods like carcassi, pumping nylon and Christopher parkening., compiling all the best things for an Indian student now the courses that are designed so carefully to fulfill your passion of classical guitar, once the baisc program is achieved we encourage the students to take the graded repertoire prepared by ABRSM publishing LONDON, and to move on to the grades till a diploma in music.
The PSM program in Classical Guitar studies is a comprehensive method for learning guitar that is appropriate for beginners ages 6 and up. Similar to traditional guitar lessons, all Classical Guitar students learn basic musical skills through reading, theory, and correct playing habits. Features of the program included yearly recitals, personally monitored classes and performances, and optional participation in local, state and international festivals, competitions, and examinations.
As an ABRSM accredited teaching institution, enrolled students have access to yearly graded music examinations which provide an internationally recognized qualification and record that is useful for gaining entry to higher education in the U.S. and abroad.
